PORT CHARLOTTE—The Rays will host an ice cream social for fans Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Charlotte Sports Park.
Players will take batting practice on the stadium field from 11:20 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and serve ice cream afterwards. Activities throughout the day include an interactive kids’ zone featuring inflatable hitting and pitching machines and games. The Rays’ mascot, Raymond, will be present, and the Charlotte Sports Park box office and team store will be open.
Admission and parking are free.
