The Rays just announced tonight’s game against the Red Sox is sold out, aside from “a limited number of obstructed view seats.”
The Rays got close to sellouts the last two nights but didn’t quite get there. This will be their fourth sellout of the season.
The team did note, rather humorously, that more than 20,000 tickets are available for all four games of the upcoming Royals series.

Coming from Boston, of course I am a Red Sox Fan, one of those fans that every year saw my Sox blow-up after the break, and how exciting it was when they finally won that 1st World Series, so I definitely know how all you faithful fans have felt over the years and how excited you are now. Now, having lived here in Florida for the past 12 years, I have also become a strong Rays fan. Needless to say, the Red Sox are my #1 team, but I am thrilled at how the Rays are playing and am not the least upset that they are beating the Red Sox. In fact, I would be just as excited and thrilled if they, and I truly believe that they have a fantastic chance to, beat out both the Red Sox and the Yankees and win the their first World Series.
