The Rays have placed C Robinson Chirinos (concussion) and OF B.J. Upton (lower back soreness) on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26. OF Sam Fuld (right wrist surgery) was placed on the 15-day DL effective today. This reduces the Rays active roster to 25 players for Opening Day.
