Catcher Kelly Shoppach will visit the Sweetbay Supermarket on 7491 4th Street North in St. Petersburg on Tuesday as part of a month-long retail promotion with Pepsi and Sweetbay.
Justin Monahan, 73, of Floral City, won the sweepstakes promotion and receives the opportunity to participate in a $1,000 private shopping spree with Shoppach. As part of the prize, Monahan also receives two Avantair Home Plate Club tickets and a personalized authentic Rays jersey for being the grand prize winner.
As part of the promotion, Pepsi is also donating $1,000 to Feeding America of Tampa Bay and will present the check to a representative of Feeding America during the event.
TUESDAY: Catcher John Jaso will instruct at the Chevy Youth Baseball Clinic for kids ages 6 to 13 which will be held at Tropicana Field from 11 a.m. to noon.
Gabe & Lisa Kapler will be the guest speakers at the Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Ave. Tampa. The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAY: Rays pitcher Randy Choate will visit All Children’s Hospital from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sponsored by Sagicor Life Insurance.
