Forum: Talk Rays
|
The Rays appear to be nearing a resolution in their contract talks with Jonny Gomes, but as of 6:45 p.m. they had not agreed to terms with the outfielder. Gomes is expected to earn about $1.25 million over a one-year deal.
They continue to talk with representatives for Scott Kazmir and Carlos Pena as well, but it’s looking more and more like those two deals might come down to the team-imposed Friday deadline.
