PORT CHARLOTTE—Eduardo Morlan is back in the Rays organization.
The reliever was selected by the Brewers in the Rule 5 draft in December but was cut by Milwaukee on Tuesday.
He cleared waivers and the Rays took him back, paying $25,000 (half of what Milwaukee paid to draft him). Morlan is on Durham’s roster and is not on the Rays’ 40-man roster.
