Rays claim RHP Jay Buente from Marlins

The Rays claimed RHP Jay Buente off waivers from the Marlins and optioned him to Durham.
To make room for him on the 40-man the Rays designated for assignment Rob Delaney.
Here’s an interesting note on Buente: He’s the only pitcher the Rays have beaten in the last six games.
