BOSTON - To think, the Rays started out the ALCS being shut out on a four-hitter.
They’ve rectified their lack of offense since then, scoring nine, nine and - so far - 11 runs in the three games since. They’ve opened an 11-1 lead over the Red Sox after six innings to close in on a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Five Tampa Bay runs crossed the plate in the seventh, mostly against ineffective reliever Manny Delcarmen. Jason Bartlett tripled and scored on a B.J. Upton single. Evan Longoria walked with the bases loaded, Carl Crawford drove in a run with a single and Dioner Navarro scored a run on a groundout.

Boston Massacre? I would say that’s appropriate for the headline in Boston tomorrow. Go Rays!
