CLEARWATER Matt Joyce said he won’t be able to play the outfield until sometime next week.
This isn’t a setback in his throwing program for his strained right elbow, he said. The original scheduled was maybe too ambitious, he said.
Still the right fielder will DH today against the Phillies at Bright House Field, home of the two-time defending NL champion Phillies.
