Purdue offers Robinson’s Gonzalez

Robinson junior football player Ruben Gonzalez has picked up a scholarship offer from Purdue, according to Knights assistant Shawn Taylor.
The Boilermakers are the first Big Ten program to extend an offer to the Knights’ receiver/defensive back. It is also the second consecutive day Purdue has extended an offer to a Robinson player. On Wednesday, Pudue offered Knights receiver/defensive back/kick returner Frankie Williams.
Gonzalez also holds scholarship offers from New Mexico, Florida International, Washington State, Toledo and Bowling Green, among others.
