Proving Gaines Adams is a waste of space

There has been a lot of criticism aimed at Gaines Adams through the first two weeks of the season. But was it justified?

We took a look at his performance play-by-play from the Bufflao game. And it is not pretty reading. From the 48 plays we isolated him, he was a non-factor on 32 of them and a total embarrassment on seven. On only six plays was he realistically involved in them, one he made a play on and at no time did he pressure the QB.

JP Peterson on 1010 Sports was calling for him to be made inactive for his sheer lack of performance and hustle. Based on this summary, I think he is right.
