The Jaguar Holiday Classic’s girls basketball championship game between Plant and host Academy of the Holy Names has been postponed to Friday at 1 p.m. because a transformer blew out, causing the electricity in the gymnasium to go out, according to Jaguars athletic director Kevin Vargas.
Vargas announced the two earlier consolation games—Durant vs. St. Petersburg Catholic and Academy at the Lakes vs. Brooks-DeBartolo—were canceled.
