Plant starting right tackle Tony Posada’s feeling blue, big Blue, and that’s a good thing.
Posada verbally committed to Michigan during a press conference at the school’s media center Wednesday afternoon. The rising senior lineman announced his decision following a video highlight reel set to Kenny Chesney’s new song “Boys of Fall.”
Posada’s list of more than 30 Division I offers were narrowed down to four this summer – Michigan, Missouri, Texas Tech and USF. The 6-foot-5, 315-pound tackle saw his stock rise near the end of last season.
Like quarterback Phillip Ely, who is expected to announce his decision to Alabama next, Posada’s helped the Panthers to a 27-2 record the past two seasons to go along with back-to-back state titles.
