Tony Posada was at football practice Tuesday afternoon. Just not the University of Michigan’s football practice.
The former Plant offensive lineman was back home in Tampa after leaving the Michigan team. Posada attended Plant’s Tuesday afternoon practice.
Panthers head coach Robert Weiner said Posada plans to stay in Tampa and attend college classes, but as far as transferring to another school for football, Weiner wasn’t sure if that was in Posada’s plans.
Posada committed to Michigan last year before the program went through a head coaching change. But Posada reconfirmed his commitment following a visit to the campus and had been working out with the team this summer.
Posada was an offensive line starter for two years at Plant, including the 2009 season when the Panthers won their third state title in four years.
