FlaVarsity.com has pegged Plant’s James Wilder, Jr. as the top player in Florida.

Wilder, the two-way starter for the Panthers, earned the website’s No. 1 ranking in FlaVarsity’s Top 100 list. The complete list can be seen here. MaxPreps.com has already listed Wilder as the No. 1 player in the nation.
Other county players that made the list released last week are Plant quarterback Phillip Ely (28th), Alonso’s Anthony Chickillo (36th), Jefferson receiver Andre Davis (No. 60), Plant City offensive lineman Jordan Prestwood (No. 65), Armwood quarterback Joshua Grady (No. 69), Freedom linebacker Keith Lewis (No. 83), Jefferson receiver Chris Moore (No. 84), Tampa Catholic fullback Hunter Joyer (No. 88), Plant offensive lineman Tony Posada (No. 96) and Robinson receiver Ruben Gonzalez (No. 98).
