Plant junior linebacker/running back James Wilder Jr. has been named to the 2009 EA SPORTS All-America team.
Wilder was named a third-team multi-purpose athlete on this year’s squad, which was released Tuesday. It is one of many honors Wilder has earned since helping Plant win the Class 5A state title in December. Wilder also has earned All-America honors from USA Today and MaxPreps.com.
Mission Bay (Calif.) High’s Dillon Baxter was named EA SPORTS Mr. Football USA National Player of the Year.
