Plant’s Taylor picks Appalachian State

Plant High’s leading everything Michelle Taylor has committed to Appalachian State.
Taylor, who led the Panthers in virtually every category this season, gave her verbal commitment to the Moutaineers on Sunday.
In helping the Panthers reach the playoffs this past season, Taylor led Plant in scoring (16.3 ppg), rebounds (6.5), assists (4.0), steals (6.1) and blocks (1.0). She was selected to play for the South team in this weekend’s FACA North-South Girls Basketball All-Star Game at Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach.
