Plant’s Sanderson Commits To FSU

Plant’s Rhonne Sanderson committed to Florida State on Tuesday.

The offensive lineman visited the campus last weekend and the Seminoles offered a scholarship on Tuesday. The player who protected two of the top quarterbacks in the state the past two seasons will try to do the same for the Seminoles.

Sanderson also had offers from Michigan State, Ball State and Western Kentucky, and Michigan had invited him up for a visit this weekend. But he opted to go with Florida State.

“When you go 26-2 in two years, you don’t do that without a leader up front and that’s what Rhonne has been for us,” Plant coach Robert Weiner said. “This is a place he wanted to go his whole life.”

I admire everything about Rhonne Sanderson! I wanna be just like him but go to Florida like Patchan! McNasty is the best O-Line coach in the history of football!

Congrats Rhonne!
I do not know anyone who is more of a class act than Rhonne Sanderson! Florida can have patchan! FSU got a steal he has great size, excellent work ethic and a heart that is insurmountable! He has the potential to do some pretty amazing things and he has a great head on his shoulders. I have known him for just one year but continue to be amazed by him, he is a true representation of what plant football is all about! Good luck and go get em’ Rhonne!
