Allen Sampson’s visit to the University of Hawaii over the weekend was a well spent one.

The Plant wide receiver came away with an offer. And he’s strongly considering taking it, Plant coach Robert Weiner said.
Sampson has offers from Division I-AA schools Delaware, Georgia Southern, Murray State and Southern Illinois. Hawaii’s his first Division I offer.
In helping the Panthers win their second-consecutive state championship this past season, Sampson led the team in receiving with 39 catches for for 671 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had three returns for touchdowns, averaging 11.30 yards on punt returns and 37.38 yards on kickoffs and had two interceptions.
