All that the Plant-Armwood game proved is that both of them are overrated and sloppy. Maybe this will get fixed as the season goes on...maybe not. Right now, I can say without reservation that the best county team is Chamberlain.

I’m considering sending this to the FHSAA myself because this has no place in any sport.” is Giddens hit on Murray any worse than #7?? who makes u the judge and jury. Giddens hit Murrray 3 steps after he threw the ball. mind ur own business and dont try to get a kid suspended.

Guys , get real. Do you really think Giddens was trying to hurt Murray.  Murray and Giddens have a ton of respect for one another. They are both exceptional athletes and great kids with bright futures. Leave that kind of talk and thoughts in the streets where it belongs. We should only be mentioning positive things about these kids. It was Football. Things like that happens and that’s why a flag was dropped. Hey sigmund, if you read my previous post, you’ll know where to find me. You can’t comprehend what you read? Don’t be putting words in my mouth by saying that I get exited when a kid gets hurt. Tell me where I can find that in my previous comments. All I said is Murray couldn’t hold Marve’s jock, and Plant people get their panties in a wad. That’s not my problem.
By the way, sigmund, save your scare tactics for some other Joe Schmo cause it won’t work with me.

That was a great Defensive game. However , it was a poor Offensive game. Why is that ? Mainly because both schools OC’s are arrogant and think it’s all about them. Why not kick the FG’s (Plant). Why not use all of your talent (ARMWOOD). Both teams Defensive Staffs should be commended for a job well done. One or two plays decided this game. Plant D should hold there heads high. They played their hearts out. Armwood’s D desreves all the credit that they have earned. It would have been nice to have seen you guys with better OC’s.

No one cares to read your hate filled garbage and it would do the Tribune well to save all of your postings and IP information.  It’s easy enough to find out who you are. Wellswood, I am not a terrier, I am a panther. I say Go Terriers b/c they are in Armwood’s district and I would rather play Hills for regionals b/c I have much more respect for Coach Garcia and his program! So if we were to lose, I would love for Hills to move on over Armwood.
Don’t have so much hate, this is just a game and things have gotten so out of hand w/ all the stuff Armwood has done over the past few weeks.

The voice was yours when you implied that if it wasn’t for Giddens “cheap-shot” Plant would have won. You can say what you wanna say about how you didn’t mean that. People that come on here (which by the way is not very many) can judge for themselves.
An about the scholarships that’s been offered to Giddens, I’m sure that he’s not getting these offers by making cheap-shots. Are you to stupid to not understand that? As a matter of fact, YOU are the only one that’s talking about a cheap-shot on Murray. I haven’t heard nothing about that on this blog or the blog at blogs.tampabay.com/preps/.

I would like to comment on the abuse that has been directed at Plant highs football team & staff.A few months ago someone painted AHS on several off campus football signs.Someone stole a championship flag from Coach Weiners front yard.Someone put graffiti on Weiners house. Someone scattered crushed glass on our practice field.Someone painted & wrote some degrading things about Coach Weiners homosexuality on our football stadium.Someone threatend some of our coaches with violence via phone calls.Someone exposed the fact that our qbs sister writes prison inmates as a fetish.Someone sent Eric Dungy a fake scholarship offer (U of Minn).Someone sent She-Male escorts to a coaches house and made harassing

Hey PJ, I let you in on a little secret......my nephew plays baseball for Hillsborough. What I don’t understand is you say “Go Terriers” yet you’re taking up for Plant. If you were a “true” Terrier, you wouldn’t be sticking up for Hillsborough’s arch-rival, Plant, no matter what the sport is.
As for EC South, the bottom line is the score at the end of the game. SHOULDA, COULDA, WOULDA. I like what you said about the cheap shots, thats why Plant lost huh? I bet you’d say that the Bucs lost today because of the refs too.

wellswood: Aaron Murray was hurt,really hurt, he had numbness in his foot & leg after Giddens cheap shot. If Plant took the field goals, Armwood LOST!! Murray is tougher than you will ever think of being. I’m positive if you were hit by Giddens like Aaron was, you would be in Tampa General tubed up wearng a diaper for 2 months. Now you can return to your re-runs of “Dukes of Hazard”.

Hey Wellswood, as I remember the game, your fast as lighting offense, Mywan and Co. didn’t fair so good either! What 7 points?????  Is that something to brag on. It was a defensive battle, and w/ all your superstars on D (what..4-5 going D1?) the no names of Plant’s D SHUT DOWN your O!  Maybe this game will humble the Wood some, they are VERY beatable!  Plant’s O line has 4 new guys, 3 never started before, one being a sophomore! Is that something to brag about, that they had a rough night w/ your superstars?

I have not figured out if you are a student or adult by your commments, but either way, please just stop.  Your writings would be so much more meaningiful if you wrote positive things about Armwood, rahter than negative things about Plant.  Positive things about Giddons, Petey, etc. not negative things about Aaron. If you don’t care for Katherine Smith then read the other paper.  There are so many choices in life, let’s make positive ones in everything that we do.  It’s ALL good! Wishing all the player’s a blessed season of growth, fun, friendship, and a lifetime of wonderful memories.
