Plant’s Martin will play against Spoto

Plant starting defensive back Javonte Martin will play Friday night against Spoto, Panthers head coach Robert Weiner said.
Martin was medically cleared on Tuesday, less than two weeks after suffering a concussion in the Panthers victory against Armwood.
Martin, one of the county’s top defensive backs, missed last Friday’s game against Gaither. He suffered the concussion near the end of the first half of the game against Armwood while making a tackle.
He leads the Panthers with five passes defended and also has 13 tackles and one interception.
