Plant’s Franklin picks Mercer

Plant senior tennis standout Natalie Franklin verbally committed to Mercer University.
Franklin also had offers from the University of North Florida and Florida Atlantic University.
Last season, Franklin helped the Panthers win their second state tennis title by winning the Class 4A No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles titles. Franklin’s points helped Plant come from behind to capture the 4A championship. Her victories at state capped off her undefeated season.
