Plant quarterback Phillip Ely and offensive lineman Tony Posada will take time out their busy practice schedule to make big announcements.

Ely and Posada will announce their college decisions Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the school’s media center. Both players have spent the summer weighing the pros and cons of the more than 25 Division I scholarship offers each have received and taking trips to schools in order to pick their college before their senior season begins.
Ely, who was recently named Most Versatile at the Elite 11 QB Camp, received nearly 30 offers, including Arizona State, Clemson, LSU, Ole Miss and USF. Posada, the Panthers starting right tackle, has more than 25 offers, which he narrowed it down to his favorites Michigan, Missouri, Texas Tech and USF.
