Plant Panthers ranked second in the nation

For the second time this season, Plant’s football team has earned the No. 2 spot on a preseason poll.
The National Prep Football Poll ranks Plant No. 2 in it’s preseason team rankings. Texas’ Trinity High is ranked first. ESPN also has Plant ranked second in the nation behind their Week 3 opponent Texas’ Abilene High. The National Prep Football Poll has Abilene ranked third.
Other county teams ranked in the National Prep Football Poll’s Top 100 are Armwood (36th) and Jefferson (41st). broken down my regions, Plant’s atop the Southeast Region, with Armwood 12th and Jefferson 14th.
