Plant City’s Storey commits to University of Tampa

Plant City senior catcher Taylor Storey has verbally committed to the University of Tampa, Plant City softball coach Heidi Kouveras said.

Storey batted .456 with seven home runs and 37 RBIs last season for the Raiders, who advanced to the Class 5A state region semifinals. Storey was also selected to the Class 5A all-state first-team and Tribune All-Hillsborough County first-team.
