Plant City’s Patterson day-to-day with ankle injury

How vital is Dazmond Patterson to Plant City?

Let’s just say the only losses the Raiders have suffered this year - to Hillsborough in the Kickoff Classic and last Friday to Brandon - Patterson was on the sideline.

Patterson suffered an ankle sprain in Plant City’s loss to Brandon. Raiders coach Wayne Ward said Patterson’s ankle is “so-so” and they will re-evaluate the injury on Monday and take it from there.

Plant City faces Newsome Friday night at home in what is essentially a postseason elimination game. The Raiders playoff bid took a hit with their loss to Brandon. They still control their own destiny and a victory against the Wolves sends them to the postseason. A loss and then they’re going to need some help.
