Plant City teammates make picks

Plant City senior baseball players Micah Carmony and K’Shawn Smith have made their commitments.
Carmony, an outfielder, has committed to Polk State College, while Smith, an infielder, is headed to Indian River State College. Both players will sign with their respective programs Friday.
Carmony led the team in home runs (six) and RBIs (23) last season, while Smith, a Saladino All-Tournament Team selection, hit .270 with 11 RBIs and scored a team-high 19 runs.
