When bad weather forced the Plant City Raiders inside their locker room, head coach Wayne Ward joked that maybe they’d play Scrabble to pass the time.
It’s not the only time this year the Raiders have been forced to spend a lot of time together and that’s by design. Ward’s cultivated a more cohesive environment with carefully planned team outings.
