PITTSBURGH—The University of South Florida defense has surrendered 193 yards and three touchdowns—and there is still 8:01 remaining until halftime.
It’s not looking good for the Bulls, who are now trailing the Pittsburgh Panthers 21-7 after Dion Lewis’ 1-yard run. Pitt’s six-play, 60-yard drive included two inconsequential defensive penalties (a pair of short-yardage facemask fouls), but two more penalties nonetheless.
Panthers quarterback Bill Stull is now 10-for-10 for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
