Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring finish notes
Greg Pickett set a record for longest gap between Sebring class victories with his P2 win in the #6 Muscle Milk RS Spyder with Klaus Graf and Sascha Maassen. It was 23 years ago that Pickett earned his last Sebring class win, co-driving a Camaro with Tommy Riggins. Today, he finished fourth overall, completing 353 laps.
Butch Leitzinger won the new GTC class title, co-driving the #81 Mission Foods/Alex Job Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with Juan Gonzalez and Leh Keen. They finished 18th overall, completing 308 laps. Leitzinger won in 1990 driving a family-owned Nissan 240 SX with David Loring and his brother, Chuck Kurtz.
The overall victory for Peugeot was the first for a French manufacturer at Sebring. The #07 Peugeot of March Gene, Alexander Wiurz and Anthony Davidson beat the #08 Peugeot of Pedro Lamy, Sebastien Bourdais and Nicolas Minassian by 13.817 seconds.cott Tucker, Christophe Bouchut and Mark Wilkins. They completed 327 laps and finished 10th overall.
Victory in the new LMPC class went to the #55 Level Five Motorsports Oreca FLM09 of Scott Tucker, Christophe Bouchut and Mark Wilkins. They completed 327 laps and finished 10th overall.
The #62 Risi Ferrari 430 GT won the GT2 battle. Drivers Jamie Melo, Gianmari Bruni and Pierre Kaffer finished sixth overall and completed 331 laps. They led the final five and a half hours
