ST. PETERSBURG—Boston’s Dustin Pedroia hit a solo home run to give the Red Sox a 3-2 lead over the Rays in the third inning tonight in Game 2 of the American League Championship Series at Tropicana Field.
Pedroia’s homer, which just cleared the fence in left field, came on a 3-2 pitch off Scott Kazmir, who otherwise escaped the inning untouched.
