Pasco High football players to sign letters-of-intent Tuesday

Brennan Allen, Jamius Sampson and Chase Sellers will each sign letters-of-intent to play college football on Tuesday.

Allen, who connected on 40 point after attempts last season and boasted one of the best legs in the county over the past several seasons, has accepted a preferred walk-on invitation from South Carolina’s Charleston Southern. He racked 3,310 yards on kickoffs and of his 55 kickoffs, 37 were touchbacks. He also hit seven of his field goal attempts.

Sellers, a linebacker who finished with 60 tackles in 2009, will play at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. Sellers also finished second on the team with 8.5 sacks and added an interception, which he retuned 91-yards for a score, one pass defended and one fumble recovery.

Sampson, a running back and linebacker for the Pirates, carried the ball seven times for 40 yards and had two tackles and an interception, will play for Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa. Sampson also had three receptions for 25 yards.
