Pasco senior defensive lineman Joey Ivie (2013) has committed to Florida on Saturday afternoon.
Ivie, a highly-touted recruit that stands at 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds, received more than 20 scholarship offers and choose the Gators over other Florida schools such as FSU, Miami and USF. Ivie made the commitment after attending a UF camp on Saturday.
Ivie joins former Pirates teammate, quarterback Jacob Guy, who will walk on at Florida, while cross-county rival and former Land O’ Lakes Gators tight end Kent Taylor will also be at Florida.
