The flu is the culprit in the cancelling of Thursday night’s volleyball match featuring Pasco at Zephyrhills.
The Pasco roster has been plagued with the illness, which Pasco athletic director Jim Ward assured it was not H1N1 or swine flu strain.
“It’s just regular flu,” Ward said. “There were like four or five of them that are sick. One of them has been out for about a week. Others have been out since Friday or Saturday from that. It’s just hanging out together drinking after each other. They all got sick.”
Monday night’s game, which was to take place at Wiregrass Ranch was also cancelled.
