The recent recruiting fair at East Bay turned out to be big for Brandon senior Sean Watson.
The Eagles’ standout receiver/defensive back picked up nine offers at the event from programs ranging between the Division II and NAIA level, according to Brandon coach John Lima. Watson also has a partial offer from Central Connecticut State, a Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) program, Lima said.
Watson led Brandon in receiving (26 receptions, 471 yards, six touchdowns) and interceptions (five) in 2009.
Lima said Watson, a Class 5A third team all-state pick as a senior, is still weighing his options.
