The #3 Corvette C6.R suffered heavy damage to the right front wheel when it was hit in pit lane by its sister car, the #4 Corvette!  Jan Magnussen was leaving the pits in #3 when Emmanuel Collard brought #4 into the pits, and slammed into the #3 Corvette.  Magnussen immediately pitted again with the right wheel crushed and Collard received a stop-and-go penalty.

After expecting to be strong contenders, it has been a disappointing day for the Corvettes.  The #4 is ninth in an extremely competitive GT2 field, and #3 is well out of the victory picture.
