One Idiot’s SEC Preseason Predictions


HOOVER, Ala. – Our preseason All-SEC and season prediction ballots were due today at noon. They’ll be announced tomorrow, but here’s the ballot I submitted.

As you read, bear in mind that I picked Tennessee to win the east last year. Also, feel free to click the comment link and tell me how stupid my picks are.

I was suprised that you picked South Carolina above Tennessee and Arkansas above LSU. Also was suprised you put Jarvis Moss on the all-SEC.

My real purpose in writing was to thank you for all the work you did putting the UF Football @ 100 series together. I’ve followed UF since 1960 so there wasn’t much in the stories that I didn’t know. But there were some things I didn’t know which says a little about the depth of your research. I really believe that interest in athletics serves two purposes: one is the power of diversion, the other the power of inspiration. Your series fed both of those “powers” which so many people need more than they realize.
