The respective coaches for Hudson and Mitchell have tabulated their stats and put an official number to just how great quarterback Zack Wynn, running back Ricky Trinidad and receiver Dylan Buono played in Friday night’s 39-36 win for the Mustangs.

Wynn was credited with completing 25-of-40 passes for 448 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Buono had 11 catches for 240 yards and two scores.

Ricky Trinidad had 16 carries for 249 yards and three touchdowns, as well as leading his team to the most important stat of all...a victory.

For those Cobras fans who are hoping Wynn can catch Plant’s Aaron Murray in the passing standings for Tampa Bay-area teams, it still appears unlikely as Murray is ahead of Wynn, 1225 to 1044, after four games for each. Murray also has a comfortable lead in touchdown passes, 19 to 8.

But Wynn’s new career-high yardage total is 39 more than Murray’s career-high, 409 yards against Jefferson on Nov. 2, 2007. Murray also has never completed 25 passes in a single game.

As Plant was on an off week last Friday, Buono also leaped past Murray’s top two threats, Orson Charles and Allen Sampson, on the receiving list with 527 yards this season, an average of 131.8 yards per game.

The final, official numbers from the Ridgewood/Gulf game, which featured more than 300 yards rushing from Rams RB Sterling Ross and more than 400 yards from Bucs RB Adrian Golden, have not been posted on maxpreps.
