Now starring Alonso’s Bennett

Alonso’s C.J. Bennett is coming to a television near you soon.

Bennett is one of eight quarterbacks starring in a reality show on Fox Sports Net called “The Ride.” The documentary-style show follows eight quarterbacks from across the United States as they vie for a spot in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Game.

Bennett, one of Hillsborough County’s leading passers, was selected to appear in the show and began filming in Philadelphia this past summer. He has competed in several drill competitions and advanced along the way to remain in the hunt for the All-American roster spot.

You can view a trailer of the show that will air the first week of November at http://www.taketheride.tv. In the Tampa Bay area, the show will run every Tuesday at 6 p.m. for 10 weeks on Sun Sports.
