Not All Are Present And Accounted For

TAMPA – The Bucs have made their way onto the practice field for the first of their mini-camp workouts and it seems as though all who were expected to be here are here.

RB Earnest Graham, who told The Tribune on Saturday that he’d end his holdout from workouts in time for the mini-camp, is in uniform. We’ll let you know just how much work he does today and what kind of shape he’s in.

QB Chris Simms, who put his chances of attending the mini-camp at “50-50’’ is not here. We’re not really surprised. Simms really wants to be moved off this team and this is just further proof.

This absence, though, will cost Simms. He stands to be fined $8,000 a day for missing the workouts this week, which run through Thursday. If he skips training camp, he faces a fine of $14,000 per day.

Don’t look for that to happen, though. If Simms is still a Bucs come late July, he’ll be at camp. That’s what he said two weeks ago when he last talked to us and Simms has always been a man of his word.

I think that if this guy wants to try to make a positive impression and try to make this team. He should be in Camp. I think Simms is not like his father, and I know teams would like his services. But come on Chris If You want to make this team then show up and Prove Coach Gruden and the staff Why should you get a chance! As far as I am concerned. I hope he does not get what he wants. Go Bucs

Hey, Chris. You SUCK! Your just another NFL bust! Your father would NOT have done something as dumb as this. Please get him outta here on the first thing smoking! Just cut him. A kid wouldn’t trade him for a bag of chips! Go AWAY SIMMS!! Go BUCS!

No need to bash but Chris even at your healthiest you didnt play well. Maybe another team is what he needs or maybe he needs to tune up his skills. As for his father I dont recall him being all that good either.

Bucs in DC,

That is correct “Port St.John” Brevard County Fl.  Port St.Lucie is about 1hr 30mins south from here. I am right next to the Kennedy Space Center.
Titusville is on one side of me and Cocoa is on the other. I’m in the middle of the two.

nick,

dude, seriously are you high? a ‘buc killer’? first off simms is only good as a back up nothing more. second he will NEVER live up to his old man. chris needs more time to mature and the next 10 years i see he will be in NFL’s Left Out position.

Nick,

He better hope he DON’T end up in the same division as us because the Bucs will plant him in the back field. And Jon Gruden is the gardner and Gaines Adams is the shovel. It would be a bad idea to end up in our division for his sake. That would be the end of Chris Simms.

Even if Cris Simms does go to camp and plays like Tom Brady or Joe Montana it will not convince HARD HEAD Gruden. He has it out for Simms And will never change his feeble mind !!

We should trade Simms and a 3rd round pick to Miami for Jason Taylor.  Parcels loved his father, maybe he will like chris.
