NEW YORK—Interesting lineup for the Rays tonight as they try to snap a six-game losing streak.
B.J. Upton is not in there for the Rays - somewhat to his surprise, apparently. He said he thinks the idea might be to play him every other day, but isn’t sure.
Dale Thayer just walked in the clubhouse door, and I’m happy to report he’s sporting a mustache-beard combo.
Here’s the lineup, which includes Chris Richard’s first start since 2003:
