Forum: Talk Rays
|
Greetings from the Trop, where the last-place O’s are in town to take on the Rays.
Couple of lineup notes before we get going: Dioner Navarro remains sidelined, as Joe Maddon had indicated probably would be the case. And Jason Bartlett is out, too. We’ll see what’s up there.
Here’s the rundown:
Iwamura 2B
Upton CF
Pena 1B
Floyd DH
Aybar 3B
Hinske LF
Zobrist SS
Gross RF
Riggans C
Kazmir P

This is good. Start resting players strategicly. Give some folks with bumps and bruises more time to heal. Keep everyone on the bench with their heads in the game by giving them playing time. Let’s hope that Kaz can find the strike zone more frequently and keep the O’s down. Chris, I’m going to the Trop from Lutz on Saturday, want me to give you a ride?

I hope Kaz’s head is in the game since he’s been spending too much time griping to the media about attendance. Kaz, you are a special pitcher, but don’t hate on the loyal fans that show up Every night, even if we are a small group. You might consider showing us a little love before saying how upset you are with the rest of TB. The fact is, after 10 miserable losing seasons, attendance is up 24% this year over last & it is going to pick up big time for the rest of the year, just watch. Focus on winning & the folks will show up (bought my post-season ticket package the other day and DO NOT want a refund for any of those tickets unless you guys can sweep the World Series). Play hard, Rays. Your hard core base does love you!
