Newsome soccer duo select Univeristy of Tampa

Newsome coach Kelly Townsend said seniors Taylor DeCaire and Emily Jones verbally committed to the University of Tampa this summer.
DeCaire, a two-time Tampa Tribune All-Hillsborough County First Teamer, led the Wolves in scoring the past two seasons. At forward she notched 17 goals a season ago for the defending Class 5A, District 7 champions, helping the Wolves win their fourth-straight district crown.
Jones, a midfielder who was also an All-Hillsborough County First Teamer in 2012, had 11 goals and six assist last season.
