New ‘do, new hue
Did a little photography this morning, thought I’d try posting it up here. Aki’s new longer hairstyle drew plenty of comments from teammates and coaches—most seemed to like it. In addition, he ordered a new batch of those famous Nike bats from last year he uses for batting practice only (hear that, Joe Torre?) in what looked to be his best guess on what the Rays’ new colors would be. It’s not quite there (one team official described it as “Easter egg”) but at least he tried.
