My pick: USF 52-6; your pick 45-12

USF should be able to name the score Saturday against Charleston Southern.

So do the Bulls put the pedal down and put together a dominating performance? Or perhaps, is one eye (or both) looking toward Florida State next week and the Bulls win by “only” 28 or so?

I’m picking USF 52-6. I think they just have too much talent and even with the obvious look ahead factor, it should be an easy victory. Even if the Bulls don’t have a dominating victory, it won’t matter: all anyone will remember is how the final nine games of the season play out, especially their first visit to Tallahassee.

For all those participating in the picks contest, you’re average predicted score is 45-12. We’re up to 121 individuals in the picks contest and it’s still not too late to enter the season-long contest. Please click here to enter or input your picks for this week. Deadline is 7 p.m. Saturday.

Also, if you’re interested, here are my Big East picks for this week. I’m picking a couple of upsets - Louisville and Syracuse - while I also think Cincinnati will win at Oregon State.

Brett, your pick for USF game last week was nearly the exact score and your 13-1 record for picks is pretty impressive.  Until you begin to falter, I’d have to go with your same picks.  Auburn’s offense has been incredible so far this season. WVA doesn’t match Auburn’s scoring capability nor does their defense stop’s Auburn’s offense. UCONN is a tough one, but without their starting QB, Baylor could nail this one. Hey, re: UCONN, what’s with the BE scheduling process that has USF always playing @ UCONN in either Nov or Dec in the cold verses playing up there in Sep or Oct?
