Aaron Murray’s settling into life as a University of Georgia student-athlete rather quickly. That’s a good thing because Murray’s services on the field could be needed sooner rather than later.
The Bulldogs starting quarterback Matt Stafford said he will enter the NFL Draft in April, which means Georgia will need a new starter. Murray will be competing with fellow freshman Zach Mettenberger and backup Joe Cox for the No. 1 spot.
Murray, who less than a month ago led the Panthers to its second state championship, arrived at campus this week after graduating early from Plant. He’s prepared to dive in head first into the Georgia playbook. He’s also ready to return his body to full strength.
Murray met with Georgia trainers who determined he’s about a month away from full flexibility in his left leg. Even though Murray returned to the field less than two months after breaking his leg and dislocating his ankle, he wasn’t as mobile as he could be.
A month of specific workouts should get Murray back to 100 percent.

Hi, I’m a pathetic douche bag trying to have a sense of humor. Truthfully, my kid’s team was beaten like a drum by better-coached Plant squad and I can’t stand their success. I’m going back to my life of tabloid magazines and soap opera’s now, since I’m an unemployed loser.

Were you trying to make a cohesive sentence Guido? Plant grads are doctors, lawyers, politicians, and business leaders. Annually one of the top 100 schools in the USA.
Go back to the hood but stay off the streets.

Ec South, them colleges can want him all they want, that doesn’t mean he’s gonna pass the SAT test. I guess hanging out in the “players lounge” at Plant hasn’t paid off. You gotta be pretty dumb to not score atleast a 700.
Suggest removalI thought Plant was ranked in the Top 100 High Schools In America?

Just remember people: This place allows anonymity. Therefore, all comments are welcome. Bad, good, true, false, it’s all here.
WORD OF ADVICE: Take this place with a grain of salt when you leave it. Whatever you read here SHOULD NEVER hold weight in the court of opinion.
Attacking kids and making VERY FALSE accusations and comments about kids is one of the cowardest acts you can partake in here. It won’t stop however. Expect more from these idiots. They feed off your replies. They want you to reply. That’s what keeps them coming back.

I assure you N.T., Plant High School didn’t get it’s #13 Blue-Ribbon rating among all high schools for no reason. We send more kids to major Universities percentage wise around the country than your school will ever match. Call it arrogant to state that. It is what it is. Keep your child in your district and keep throwing them stones from across the pond. Based on his daddy’s cowardice, I couldn’t fathom him fitting in our place anyways.

Has anyone considered the fact that maybe plant isnt that good of a school but that they have an intelligent pool of kids. south tampa, especially plants district, is generally affluent. most people would agree that there is a correlation between one’s income and one’s intelligence. Hence why students that attend plant from outside the district (i.e. Riverview)dont do well. It also helps if they know how to read/write when they make the transfer.
I have heard numerous stories of students leaving private schools in the bay area with 3.0 GPAs and then when they attend plant they get 4.5 GPA’s. Grade inflation much?

Hey my comment was deleted. Just to make sure you read this ill post it again…
“We send more kids to major Universities percentage wise around the country than your school will ever match.” -hey North Tampa
it is impossible for plant to have a higher college acceptance rate than my son’s school because his school has a 100% acceptance rate. the school is called jesuit. therefore your comment was wrong.
p.s. to whomever monitors this blog, if you delete this comment again instead of the one at the bottom that was left by mike hunt then i will expect an explanation why. thank you.

Yet Katherine Smith let’s a Plant fan get away with calling someone a douche-bag. This whole prep section is a joke, just look at all the zero’s under each topic.
