We’re just before kickoff and Plant did something that Coach Robert Weiner revived when he joined the school in 2004.
Two more members were inducted into the Plant Football Hall of Fame. Edward L. Flom played halfback and safety for Plant from 1945-47. He also was an All-State basketball selection.
Bobby Belle played quarterback and linebacker for the Panthers from 1941-43. Belle won the Guy Toph Trophy, the county’s highest football honor, in 1943.
