Tampa Bay just took a 30-3 lead after K Matt Bryant’s 34-yard field goal attempt with 4:08 minutes remaining in the third quarter. Tampa Bay will make the playoffs and need healthy bodies. How much longer should the starters play before Jon Gruden pulls them?

You cant sit Garcia he needs to get reps he missed 3 games already, so you want him to sit out 5 0f 6 games and then be ready for the playoffs where everybody kicks it up a notch. The offence still needs a lot of work yes split time with EG and Bennett maybe sit Joey that is about it need to get them to start to peak cant do that from the bench

I agree, with the game in hand let Luke take the offense the rest of the way. And why are we not seeing more of Bennet. That guy ran for almost as many yards on 9 carries as Graham ran all day. Not to take anything away from Graham, he is definately the most complete back in the offense. But a one, two punch throughout the game with those two could be even more punishing.

Would have to agree with MLNFL on that one. I would also give more carries to Bennett, this would give us a chance to better evaluate him (he looked like he had something to prove on the few runs he had), and keep Graham and Pittman fresh for the playoffs. Having Garcia healthy is a no brainer, but our depth in the backfield could prove vital in controlling offensive powerhouses in the playoffs.

How about that pretty play fake by Pittman and Garcia on that last touchdown? People may say that he ran up the score, but they did do most of the damage on that drive with Michael Bennett who is pretty much an afterthought at running back on our team with Graham running so well.

I second that motion. Garcia is not setting the world on fire as the recievers have dropped a few today. Why not give Luke more practice time with the game in hand? It only helps the team for the future if he is the future of the franchise.

Take Jeff out and put Luke in for the
remainder of the game.

There is nothing to evaluate about Bennett. He has been in the league for 6 years and Gruden has seen what he can do and obviously doesn’t need to see anymore. Darby is a guy that I think we should take a long look at. As long as Garcia is in the game Gruden is going to keep a back in the game that can pass block for him. Blitz pick-up, i’m sure, is whats keeping these other backs from getting reps at meaningful points of the game. Bennett will be gone in the offseason unless he wants to play for cheap.
