Middleton senior receiver Andres Harris verbally committed to Bethune-Cookman College following his visit to the Division I-AA school over the weekend, football coach Harry Hubbard said on Tuesday.
Harris was selected a Tampa Tribune All-Hillsborough County honorable mention.
“He’s only 5-foot, 7,” Hubbard said. “Most schools want the ideal player, right height and right size, but you’re not always going to get that. He performed well enough to receive a scholarship.”
Hubbard added that senior offensive lineman Joe White and Jarrold Gunn and receiver/defensive back Javarous Martin will all visit the University at Albany this weekend.
