Middleton DB heading to Colgate

Middleton senior cornerback Wendell Lewis has accepted a scholarship offer to play for Colgate University, a Division I Football Championship Subdivision school located in upstate New York, Middleton coach Jason Stokes said.
This past season, Lewis recorded 55 tackles, four interceptions and scored four touchdowns.
Colgate ended the 2009 season ranked 21st in The Sports Network national poll and 20th in the FCS Coaches Poll. The Raiders went 9-2 overall and 4-2 in the Patriot League.
